How to change a printer IP address

You have to be signed on with a user ID that has high authority

Then:

From the WRKWTR *ALL screen, select option 4 and prompt it to HOW TO END=*immed

Go to WRKCFGSTS *DEV to locate the device and vary it off

Use the WRKDEVD to change the IP address

Vary on the device

Use STRRMTWTR command to start the remote writer

or user STRPRTWTR command to start a regular printer .
